ZC4 Qsl card clone.

Sent down here a couple of weeks after my dad died. Just sheep and hills (no trees at all except in the Govenors garden and the Cathedral) - God I hated it down there. Was in the RAF but seconded to Army !! Always in trouble with that bloke in khaki who had 3 stripes on his arm with a crown above them. Said he was GOD but to me he was a Flight Sergeant with a BIG anti-social problem. Need I say more. Pissed in his coffee every day for 2 months !!! Left him a note when I flew out in the post so he got it after I left.....

If it wasn't for the radio and the guys on band I would have gone barking mad... Only good point was up till this time VP8 was still relatively rare on CW. I tried VERY hard to fix that..

As an aside....Just before I got there an order was issued by CICBIFI that the locals were NOT to be refered to as a "BENNY" (as in Benny from Crossroads!!) When I got there I was told that a local was now called a "STILL", when I asked what that meant I was told that a local was STILL a BENNY !!!
