Well, what can I say - everyone has got one !!
My First callsign and QSL card.
Those were the days ! However this is where my love of cw stems from as I was one of the first to get a legal licence variation for a B class licensee to operate CW. The only problem was all the A class ops would not demean themselves to operate CW with a B class call. It took a LOT of hard work to get them to chat to me !!
My current QSL card. Still a ZC4 clone. Although it doesn't get sent out much now as I am to busy with my studies to get to play much on the radio.
This is the station where I learnt a lot about Amateur radio. Being in the RAF and the club station being at the same place as my trade training school the implications are obvious. A lot of good guys spent a lot of time answering my questions here.
My first official sojourn onto the HF bands with this call. As you can see it is quite a unique one. With a call like this I had a good grounding in operating pile ups in both SSB and CW. This stood me in good stead for when I was overseas. By that time though all my awards and operating were for CW only - although I did operate the occasional fone qso when I could find a microphone.
